70 local levels to get ambulances

Dharan – The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of the Province No. 1 has decided to provide ambulances to as high as 70 rural municipalities from 14 districts in the province by launching ‘Chief Minister Highly Essential Services Centre’. 
Ambulances would be distributed to 70 local levels in the first phase aiming to run health care services and safety, and anti-disaster campaign in each local level of the districts. 


According to the Ministry, the rural municipalities with an access to road would be given the ambulances with the same color in all ambulances along with the logo of the province government. It is said that Rs 120 million has been allocated to procure the ambulances in the Province No. 1 and the ambulance would be handed over till December as the procurement process was already initiated, an official of the Ministry shared. 


Likewise, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of Province No. 1 Hikmat Karki shared that the Ministry was also working on the preparations of infrastructures for security measures, measures to mitigate disasters and others.
