Digital dialogue on journalist code of conduct begins

Nuwakot – In a bid to intensify discussion on compliance of code of conduct in the changing pattern of media with the technological advancement, the Press Council Nepal has initiated ‘Digital Dialogue Programme on Journalist Code of Conduct’ in Bidur of Nuwakot on Tuesday. 

The Council has a plan to gradually replicate this programme to other parts of the country. 
PCN member Gopal Budhathoki said the programme was initiated from Nuwakot keeping in mind the status and challenges of today’s digital era and wider changes witnessed in journalism sector. 

He also urged journalists not to remain scared of practicing journalism due to new code. ---
