Non-scheduled flights at initiative of State Minister Budha

Tripurakot, Dolpa –The Nepal Airlines Corporation and Summit Air at the initiative of Minister of State for Tourism, Dhan Bahadur Budha, have started non-scheduled flights from today targeting the students returning to Dolpa.

The non-scheduled flights have been started viewing the air ticket problem facing by Dolpali students, perusing their education in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Nepalgunj and Surkhet as well as other places, while returning to their hometown during Dashain every year.

State Minister Budha's Personal Secretary, Bhim Bahadur Budha, said, "Many of Dolpali students missed chance to celebrate Dashain with family after not getting air ticket to reach home in previous years. So arrangement of separate flights has been made for the students from this year."

Arrangement has been made to operate five flights by Nepal Airlines Corporation while three by Summit Air for the same.

Although the NAC is scheduled to make three flights today, only two flights were operated while another flight was cancelled to due unfavourable atmosphere at Jufal airport, Chief of Civil Aviation Authority, Nepalgunj, Premnath Thakur.
A student has to reach the office of the Nepal Airlines Corporation, Nepalgunj, and can get air ticket after submitting his/her student identity card.
