Rajbiraj – President of the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN), Raj Kishor Yadav, has said the present has become a complete failure as it has not been able to accomplish the works as per the desire and aspirations of the people.
Addressing a news conference organized by the RJPN Saptari district committee at Rajbiraj on Thursday, he said the government has neither been able to resolve the Madhes issues nor the issues pertaining to the development for the country’s prosperity.
He called for releasing the party cadres arrested in course of the Madhes movement and for the high-level investigation committee formed during the movement to make its report public.
President Yadav said the RJPN has backed this government for establishing the rights of the people and for carrying out the nation’s development. He also called on the government to initiate the process for constitution amendment.
The RJPN president protested what he called the imminent destruction of 8,000 hectares of forest for the construction of the Nijgadh Airport, saying this would weaken the economy of the Province 2. ---
