Province 5 CM urges security bodies to win people's hearts

 

Butwal – Province 5 chief minister Shankar Pokhrel has said security bodies at all levels should work by winning the people's heart. 


In his address to a province level security meet organized by the province ministry of internal affairs and law here today, the chief minister insisted on the need of winning people's heart to maintain peace and order in the society and achieve prosperity. 


The province security affairs mattered for the security condition of the entire nation and security of provinces must be sound and efficient. As he said, peace and security measures are not only for controlling crimes, but are the means of bringing those violating the laws to book. 


"The Nepalese society is still revolving around the right-based politics, three big political revolutions at home could not address this practice and provinces are not untouched by its influence." According to the chief minister, there remains no alternative to the Constitution to secure the rights.

 
He further said that citizens had well evaluated the presence and performance of the border Armed Police Force and the province government would work in coordination with the Nepalese Army, Armed Police Force and the Nepal Police. 
The seminar held under the chair of minister for internal affairs and law, Kul Prasad KC, is attended by chief district officers of 12 districts under the province 5 and chiefs of province-level four security bodies. 


It is to discuss on concepts relating to common rights of federal and provinces, peace and security-related laws, province police and security, as told by secretary at the ministry, Man Bahadur BK.
