Shekh to captain Nepali team to U-19 Asia Cup

Kathmandu – A 15-member Nepali national cricket team has been announced for the U-19 Asia Cup Cricket. 


The U-19 Asia Cup Cricket Tournament is taking place in Bangladesh from September 28 to October 7. 
The Nepali national cricket team for the tournament comprises Mohammad Arif Shekh (captain), Kamal Singh Airee (vice-captain), Rohit Poudel, Rabi Saha, Nnadan Yadav, Rit Gautam, Pawan Sarraf, Rabindra Jung Shahi, Rashid Khan, Bhim Sarki, Arun Airee, Tirtha Raj Das, Sandip Jora, Sagar Dhakal and Surya Tamang, manager of the national team Raman Shivakoti said. 


Shakti Gauchan is the team manager, Binod Das is the main coach and Manoj Katuwal is the deputy coach. The team is leaving here for Dhaka on Thursday. 


Sandip Lamichhane to play in UAE T-20 league 
Meanwhile, youth spinner Sandip Lamichhane is playing in the UAE T-20 League. He has been contracted by Kerala Kings Club to play in the league taking place from November 23 to December 2.
