State Minister hints at re-establishing district public health offices

Chautara – State Minister for Health and Population Dr Surendra Kumar Yadav has said that efforts would be made to keep the district public health offices as they were adding that the offices were scrapped despite their need was realized. 


Inaugurating two pre-fab buildings at the premises of Chautara Hospital in Sindhupalchowk on Saturday, State Minister Dr Yadav made such remark. Sharing the government's plan to establish health posts in each ward of the local governments, Dr Yadav stated that health posts would be established in 1,200 wards in the current fiscal year. 


Likewise, he said all the municipalities and rural municipalities have been provided with the money needed to purchase the medicines and the Ministry of Health and Population was working to deploy the required number of health officials to cater services to the locals.
