Community school begins classes on Civil Engineering

Palpa – Kalika Community School at Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality in Palpa district has commenced the classes on three-year diploma in Civil Engineering from this year. This is the first of its kind in civil engineering in Palpa. 

The school got approval from the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) to run diploma in civil engineering from this academic year, school principal Janardan Pandey shared, adding that the students of the area now has no obligation to leave for other cities for acquiring technical education. 

Excited from the new beginning in education, chairman of the Rural Municipality Ram Bahadur Karki hoped that the school would ease the production of skilled human resource and the problem of unemployment would also be resolved. This year, a total of 48 students could be enrolled for the technical education in the school.
