Successful execution of constitution stressed

Pokhara –The Constitution Day would be meaningful through the successful implementation of the constitution. 

Speakers at a function organised by the Gandaki province government to mark the Constitution Day here today echoed on this theme. 

Stating that the constitution achieved through the Constituent Assembly as a result of the struggle marked by sacrifice of the Nepali people was in the phase of implementation, they urged one and all to move forward as per its letter and spirit. 
Gandaki Province Chief Baburam Kunwar underlined the need of internalising the letter and spirit of the constitution for its effective implementation. 

Gandaki Province government Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung said constitutionally the country has become a federal democratic republic and stressed on the appropriate allocation of rights in deference to the spirit of the main law of the land. 

Former Law Minister Yagya Bahadur Thapa, Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City acting mayor Manjudevi Gurung and CPN's central member Raj Kaji Gurung said the cooperation and support of everyone was necessary for the successful implementation of the constitution secured through a long struggle of the Nepali people.
