Lahan –Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Siraha and Saptari districts in the last 24 hours.
Nineteen years old Dudhnath Yadav, a resident of Govindapur in Lahan Municipality died on the spot when a pickup van knocked his motorbike at Lahan Municipality-1 on the East-West Highway last night, the Siraha District Police stated.
Likewise, 35-year-old Ashik Jha of Chhinnamasta rural municipality-2 died when the motorcycle he was riding fell as he lost control. The mishap occurred on the road at the rural municipality-3, police said. Jha, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at the Gajendra Narayan Sagarmatha Hospital in Rajbiraj.
