Chitwan –One person died after being hit by a jeep at Gondrang in ward no. 12 of Bharatpur Sub-metropolis.
The incident took place on Saturday evening, where a man of around 55 years old died, the District Police Office Chitwan said. The identity of the man is not yet known.
The jeep with registration number Ba.17.Cha. 5347 was heading towards Ratnanagar from Narayangadh when the incident took place. Seriously injured after being hit by the jeep, the man died in course of treatment at Bharatpur hospital.
The jeep driver has been taken into custody while the jeep has been impounded for necessary action.
