Nawalparasi – Chief Minister of Gandaki State Prithivi Subba Gurung has said that overall development was essential for the economic prosperity of Gandaki state.
Inaugurating the second convention of the Ambulance Drivers Association, district chapter, Nawalparasi in Kawasoti on Tuesday, he said the Gandaki state was moving towards the path of prosperity. "The political movement has come to an end, and the country is heading towards economic prosperity," he said.
Referring the large number of cultural, tourist and religious sites in Gandaki, the Chief Minister said that the state was ahead in welcoming and respecting guests. Ghalegoan in Lamjung was the first to begin home stay in the country.
He also gave assurances to support infrastructure development for the Amaltari home stay in Kawasoti.
