Compulsion of going abroad for health service to be ended-DPM Yadav

Kathmandu –Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has said the people's compulsion of going abroad for medical treatment would be put an end. 


At a programme organised at B&B Hospital in Lalitpur today, Deputy Prime Minister Yadav said the government and private hospitals should provide with quality health services to the people in an affordable and easy manner.


"People should access all medical services in an affordable price without compromising quality in the country. The private hospitals should also provide quality health services in an affordable charge. The government is ready to collaborate with private hospitals to this effect", he added. 


Saying that Nepal's health services could improve only when the government and private sectors collaborate for the same, the Health Minister noted that it was the responsibility of both the sectors to expand health services to the reach of poor people who are mostly deprived of basic health service. 
The hospital has initiated Cath Lab Service from today.
