Kathmandu – Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota and Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masamichi Saigo held meeting at Singha Durbar today.
During the meeting, Minister Baskota reaffirmed the mutual and cordial ties between Nepal and Japan and urged the Japanese government for further cooperation in respect of the management of information and technology at local, provincial and federal level in Nepal.
Minister Baskota also urged the Japanese envoy for considering support for the construction of similar kind of structures for other state-owned media houses like quake-resilient studio of Radio Nepal.
In response, Japanese envoy Saigo articulated the willingness of Japan for further extending cooperation and bolstering ties between Japan and Nepal.
