Family of teenage boy killed in landslide given monetary assistance

Phalebas, Parbat –The family of a 17-year-old boy who died when a landslide caused by continuous rains since last night buried their house at Jaljala rural municipality-8 in Parbat has been provided the financial assistance. 


Bikash Pariyar, 17, was killed in the incident happened in the wee hours today and Chief District Officer of Parbat, Guru Datta Dhakal handed Rs 100,000 to the bereaved family in relief. 


Fifteen families displaced by a landslide here are taking shelter in a nearby Pharse Dhairing Secondary School building at present, and the District Administration Office has managed their accommodation and reliefs, said CDO Dhakal. 


Likewise, three persons who were injured when a landslip buried the house of local resident Bhim Lal Acharya at Jaljala Rural Municipality-7 have been admitted to the Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital, Baglung, it is learnt. ---
