Baglung – A woman was killed after a mound of earth collapsed upon her at Ratmata of Nishikhola rural municipality on Wednesday. The deceased is 60-year-old Buma Kunwar of Kanlechaur.
The incident took place while digging out ochre-coloured soil for daubing the house. Another woman, 28-year-old Kaushila Karki, who was also digging out the soil with Kunwar, was injured in the incident.
She is being treated at the local health post, police said. Locals had rescued her after knowing about the incident.
