Local government's financial support to people with disabilities

Bhojppur –The Arun rural municipality in Bhojpur, the district in Province1, has provided monetary assistance to 150 differently-abled people within the locality.

A total of 150 people with disabilities (75 in the category of 'C' class disability and 75 with 'D' category) were provided with Rs 6,000 each on an annual basis, rural municipality chief Gajendra Bahadur Karki said.

This number of people are learnt to have been still deprived of the State facilities meant for them. ---
