Province No 5 State Assembly meeting deferred

Butwal – The State Assembly meeting of Province No 5 has been deferred. 
State Assembly speaker Purna Bahadur Gharti put out a notice informing about the postponement of the Assembly meeting citing special reason. The meeting has now been scheduled for tomorrow or Tuesday. 

The meeting was postponed for 20 minutes before this today. Speaker Gharti postponed the meeting for some time after the State Assembly members belonging to the opposition party, the Nepali Congress, protested the budget standing from their seats. 

Speaking moments after the meeting started, Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary of the Nepali Congress protested the budget for fiscal year 2018/19 presented in the Assembly earlier by the provincial government. He said the status of the State Assembly was undermined. He slammed the budget as distributive and a failure in terms of principles and policies.
