Rana receives Kaura preservation journalism award
Pokhara – Nawalparasi-based journalist Kamala Ranamagar has been honoured with Kaura Preservation Journalism Award-2075 BS.
The award, instituted by the National Fundamental Kaura Preservation Committee, Nepal, is being managed by Nepal Magar Journalists Association, Kaski chapter.
Journalist Rana was feted in recognition of her substantial contributions to preserve and promote Magar community's popular dance, Kaura, through journalism.
She received cash prize of Rs 5,000 along with a letter of appreciation and shawl.
Province-4 Minister for Social Development Naradevi Pun honoured journalist Rana amid a programme on Wednesday. ---
