Kathmandu –Senior artiste Bhim Bahadur Thapa has passed away. He was 93. The family confirmed his death today. Thapa, who was suffering from complications in his chest and lungs for long, died at 2am in his house.
He played in various movies, TV series and radio dramas. He also served in Nepal Army having worked in British Gurkhas for two years. His last rites will be performed today itself, said the family.
People from various walks of life including from Nepali cine industry like Basundhara Bhusal and Dipa Shree Niraula reached the Pashupati Aryaghat to pay their last tribute to Thapa.
