Karnali-Rara Tourism Year inauguration cost Rs 6.38 million

Surkhet –The government of Karnali Province has said Rs 6.381 million was spent in the inauguration of the Karnali-Rara Tourism Year-2075 campaign. 


Minister for Economic Affairs of the province government Prakash Jwala gave this information while responding to the queries raised by the opposition party lawmakers in the meeting of the State Assembly on Thursday. 
According to him, of the total budget spent for that purpose, the province government provided Rs 4.941 million while Nepal Tourism Board met Rs 1.440 million. 


Meanwhile, the State Assembly of Karnali Province has passed three bills proposed to be forwarded to the thematic committees of the province assembly. These bills are the Bill Designed to Make Provision for Legislation of the Rural Municipality Assembly and the Municipality Assembly, 2075 and the Bill Designed to Make Provision Regarding Facilities to be Provided to Office-bearers and Members of the Local Level, 2075. 
Minister for Internal Affairs Naresh Bhandari had proposed to the state assembly that these bills be sent to the thematic committee. 


Similarly, the state assembly also passed the proposal tabled by Minister for Social Development Dala Rawal that the Social Organisations Operation and Management Bill, 2075 be sent to the Social Development Committee of the state assembly.
