We must develop religious tourist destinations: Minister Kusiyat

Biratnagar – Province no 1 Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment, Jagadish Prasad Kusiyat, said the province's economic prosperity would be had with appropriate management of the religious tourist destinations. 

At an interaction held by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Province no 1 Committee here, Minister Kusiyat said foreign tourists will not be lacking in numbers with proper publicity of more than 35 mountains located within the province. 

Minister Kusiyat was of the opinion that creating a corridor linking Biratnagar to Barjutal, Ramdhuni, Chatara, Barah area, Dantakali, Pindeshwor, Budasubba, Bhedetar and Namaste Jharana would drawn millions of Indian tourists from western Bengal, Bihar, Sikkim as well as Bangladeshi tourists resulting in minimization of the trade deficit.
