Itahari – A team of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Chief of District Education Coordination Committee (DECC), Sunsari, Khagendra Subedi, from Inaruwa.
The CIAA team nabbed Subedi while taking Rs 50,000 bribe from service seekers. Spokesperson at CIAA, Itahari, Narendra Bhattarai, said that Subedi had asked for the bribe for providing financial support from the District Coordination Committee to construct toilet and wall of a basic school in the district.
Bhattarai said that preparation was underway to bring Subedi at Itahari-based CIAA office for further investigation.
