Service seekers at BPKIHS facing problems

Itahari – Service seekers are facing a lot of difficulties and trouble these days at the BP Koitrala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan due to the weakness of the Institute's management. 


There is maximum complaint from service seekers that they cannot get their laboratory reports in time despite paying for the same. The kidney test equipment at the Institute is lying dysfunctional for some weeks and the service seekers have to wait for weeks to get their emergency test reports. 


Same is the case with regards to various other laboratory reports reportedly due to the some technical snag, the service seekers have complained. 


Some 2,000 service seekers visit the Institute hospital for health check-up and they have to wait for weeks for their laboratory reports even for normal blood test report. 


Information officer at the Institute Sujendra Tamang acknowledged this situation and said this was because of the managerial weakness. 


The service seekers have charged that the incumbent management at the Institute's hospital is negligent towards the medical services as the ones coming from far have to wait for weeks and visit the hospital frequently for their medical reports.
