Palpa – Literature and Health Foundation Palpa today presented 'Kamal Raj Regmi Year Award-2074' to litterateur, social worker and politician of Papla Jhapendra GC.
GC was honoured with the award for his outstanding contributions to literature, social sector and politics. The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000 and a certificate.
The Foundation has also distributed Rs 3,000 in scholarship to the poor and intelligent students of 10 community schools in Palpa district.
During the programme, founding patron of the Foundation, Dr Prakash Raj Regmi, said litterateurs should be honoured for further development of literary sector.
