UML and CPN (MC) Chairpersons agree to summon unification coordination earliest

Kathmandu –Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' who met today to discuss the issues of merger between the two parties have agreed to summon a meeting of the unification coordination committee at the earliest to accelerate the process. 


It may be noted that the coordination committee meeting a month ago handed the responsibilities of resolving unsettled issues in the reports of ideological and organizational task forces of both political parties. 


In the meeting took place at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar, both chairmen agreed to summon the coordination committee meeting by this evening or tomorrow, according to Prime Minister's press advisor Dr Kundan Aryal. 


Meanwhile, the UML has called its standing committee meeting at 4:00 pm today in view of the preparations for the merger, it is said.
