Drinking water project benefits 2,700 households at Rampur

Rampur, Palpa – Some 2,700 households of Rampur have been benefitted from Rampur Second Small Urban Drinking Water Project. 


The problem of drinking water existing since long has come to an end after the completion of the project, constructed at Rs 251.089 million. The Asian Development Bank had provided Rs 251.089 million for the construction of the project. 


Project Vice-Chairperson Humnath Neupane said that water taps have been installed at 2,700 houses. Around 5,000 households of Rampur could get drinking water facility from this project. 


The project has been brought into operation at lower settlement of Rampur municipality-4, 5, 6 and 7. The locals, who were compelled to spend their morning hours to fetch a jar of water, are now happy after getting drinking water facility at their door step.
