Dunai Cobra emerge victorious in ‘Dunai Premier League’

Dunai, Dolpa – The Dunai Cobra has won the title of Dunai Premier League Cricket, defeating District Police Team by 27 runs.
Altogether four teams had participated in the fifth edition of the Dunai Premier League Cricket held in Dunai of Dolpa .
The winner team collected Rs 30,000 in cash while runner up got Rs 10,000.
Winner Dunai Cobra managed 155 runs with the loss of five wickets in total 20 overs while Nepal Police managed just 128 runs, according to the organizers.
Captain of Dunai Cobra Apar Gurung, the top wicketkeeper also scored the highest sixes and highest runs during the entire league.
Khitiz, one of the organizers, said that such a tournament was organized aiming at producing better cricketers and uplift the players’ morale.
He said the sixth edition of the Dunai Premier League Cricket would be held in the offing.
