Rasuwa – An international marathon race is to be organised along the Langtang Trekking Route on coming May 19.
According to event organiser Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN)'s media coordinator Gopal Shrestha, the 42-kilometer race shall be organised from Kyangjen to Syafrubesi.
The objective of the event is send a message to the world that Langtang is safe even after the earthquake and is the one of the best tourist destinations, as stated by TAAN first vice chair Jeeban Thapa Magar.
Over 100 athletes will be participating in the marathon that Langtang is hosting the second time.
