Ilam –The family members of a 14 – year – old girl suffering from blood cancer has appealed for financial help.
Ritika Ghimire, 14, from Barbote of Ilam municipality – 4 has been suffering from flood cancer for the past one month. A month ago Ritika fell ill and during a medical examination at the Birta City Hospital she was diagnosed as suffering from cancer.
Save Ritika Committee has also been formed to garner support in her treatment as the family is economically weak to finance her treatment.
The Bharatpur Cancer Hospital has said it would take at least three million rupees to treat Ritika after which the committee was formed to seek financial help, Committee's Secretary Naryan Ghimire said.
He said a savings account with no 13201001012660000001 has been opened at Prabhu Bank, Ilam for those wishing to extend financial support for the girl's treatment.
