Land donated to health post birthing centre

Ilam - Local social workers donated three ropanis land worth amounting to Rs 600,000 for the construction of birthing centre building of health post in Rong rural municipality-2. 
Local Dik Bahadur Rai, Bir Bahadur Rai and Ram Prasad Rai donated one ropani each, shared ward-2 chairperson Tek Bahadur Tamang. 
There is a compulsion for the local people to walk a long distance to receive service in absence of birthing centre in the ward. 
A plan has been made to construct an well-equipped building with birthing centre in the land.
