Bishnu Rimal is PM Oli's Chief Political Advisor

Kathmandu - The today's meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to appoint Bishnu Rimal, the CPN (UML) politburo member, to the post of Chief Political Advisor to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. 
The meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence at Baluwatar took a decision to this effect, Minister for Population and Environment Lalbabu Pandit said. 
The government has amended the Government of Nepal Business Operation Regulations and to keep 18 ministries including the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in the federal level. 
The UML has started its standing committee meeting now immediately after the meeting of the Council of Ministers to discuss the unification with the CPN (Maoist Centre) and Cabinet expansion. 
A cake was cut at the outset of the UML standing committee meeting on the occasion of the 67th birthday of Prime Minister and party chairman Oli. 
Ambassadors of India and China to Nepal separately called on PM Oli at his residence this morning and extended birthday wishes to him.
