ATHENS,  A makeshift explosive device went off outside a store operated by Greece's opposition leader's wife in central Athens near the Acropolis hill early Monday.
No injury has been reported but only minor damages to the fashion store that belongs to Mareva Grabowski, New Democracy party leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis' wife.
The perpetrators fled and police were conducting an investigation.
"We are not afraid of them and they are not getting away with this," Mitsotakis tweeted, accusing the government and some media outlets of targeting his wife.
Grabowski has been reported to have large deposits abroad, but no charges of any wrong doing has been brought against her by judicial authorities.
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' press office has issued a press statement that read, "We unequivocally condemn the attack against Ms. Mareva Grabowski Mitsotakis' business." Enditem
