Robot inaugurates IT fair

Ratnanagar, The 'third Digicom CAN Info-tech-2074' has kicked off in Bharatpur of Chitwan from February 8. 
The Chitwan Chapter of Federation of Computer Association Nepal organized the fair. The robot developed by the students of Oxford College Gaindakot inaugurated the conference amidst a programme on Thursday. 
Chief Gust at the programme, lawmaker Krishna Bhakta Pokharel stressed that Chitwan should be made a hub for information and technology – the base for prosperity. 
He noted that various countries in the globe have made miraculous change through the use of technology. 
Chitwan Industry Association Chairperson Bhshraj Dawadi alos highlighted the need of the hour to maximize the use of technology. 
Also speaking on the occasion, IT expoert Hari Bhandari said that the proper use of technology will substantially help expedite development works. 
The fair that kicked off with the slogan of 'Chitwan's Prosperity; Information Technology' will last on February 12. There are 80 stalls in the fair. Around 200,000 people are expected to visit the fair.
