Prakashman Singh insists on unity among parties

Kathmandu, Nepali Congress leader Prakashman Singh has said that there was no alternative for political parties to working together for effective enforcement of the constitution. 
Taking part in the celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the Padmakanya Bidhyashram Higher Secondary School here today, the former Deputy Prime Minister insisted on the need of unity among all political parties as in the constitution drafting process to ensure a meaningful enforcement of the country's main law. 
"The Province Assembly members took the oath of office and secrecy Sunday and with the oath-taking ceremony, the nation entered the federalism," he added, underlining the need of taking the country towards the path of development. 
Also speaking on the same occasion, Kathmandu Metropolis mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya stated that the Metropolis was coming up with a special package for the reform of community schools, pledging special support to the schools carrying a long historic identity. 
On the occasion, leader Singh honoured school staffs completing 25 years in service and 'outstanding' students. The school based in Dillibazar, Kathmandu was established in 2004 BS.
