Three newly-appointed Ministers of Madhes Province sworn in

JANAKPURDHAM, May 23: The Janata Samajbadi Parly-led Cabinet of the Madhes Province has been expanded. Amidst dissatisfaction from parties including the Maoist Center, Chief Minister Saroj Yadav has appointed two people from Nepali Congress and one from CPN (Unified Socialist) as ministers. The three newly appointed ministers have taken an oath of office and secrecy at the Madhes Province building.

Krishna Prasad Yadav as the Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development and Birendra Prasad Singh as the Minister of Health, have been sworn in from Congress, while Gobinda Bahadur Neupane from CPN(US) has been sworn in as the Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives in the government of the Madhes province.

Provincial Chief Harishankar Mishra administered the oath to the newly-appointed Ministers.
