Blankets handed to cold survivors

Rajbiraj, Former Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) politburo member Umesh Kumar Yadav distributed blankets to cold wave survivors. 
Yadav distributed blankets as relief to the cold-affected locals of Chhinnamasta rural municipality in Saptari. 
As many as 175 households including disable, single women, Dalit and disadvantaged families received the relief materials. 
Likewise, the Dharmi Halfa Women Development Club, Lalpatti on Saturday distributed blankets to Dalits and disadvantaged families at Chhinnamasta rural municipality of Saptari. 
Club Chairperson Engineer Surya Narayan Yadav said that the blankets were distributed to 45 families. 
Meanwhile, police arrested an absconding rape attempt accused Durgananda Saha Teli, 33, of Balan Bihul rural municipality-2. 
A year ago, the District Court Saptari had sentenced one-and-a-half year jail-term to rape attempt convict Saha.
