Nari Sanchar Griha Jhapa's assistance to journalists

Kakarvitta, The Nari Sanchar Griha Jhapa, a media house, has assisted ailing female journalist Maya Pakuwal over Rs 73 thousands. Pakuwal, editor of the Barun Weekly, is suffering from kidney failure. The media house earlier provided Rs 10 thousands to her and collected remaining over Rs 63 thousands through the funds raising campaign to assist in her treatment. 
A team from the media house comprising chair Sabitra Dahal, secretary Ambika Bhandari and members Bheema Siwakoti and Rejina Gautam Tuesday visited the ailing journalist at the Mechi Zonal Hospital where her dialysis is going on to hand over the assistance amount. As stated by her spouse Sanjay Pradhan, she is scheduled to undergo a kidney transplant at Bhaktapur-based Kidney Transplant Centre by mid-February and her elder brother Saurabh Pradhan will be donating his one kidney to her. 
Likewise, the media house has provided a monetary aid of Rs 10 thousands to local journalist Deepak Adhikari who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident Monday night. He, editor of the Bhadrapur-based Naulo Awaj Weekly, has been admitted to the Omsai Pathibhara Hospital. He sustained severe injuries to his face and right hand. His wife journalist Subhadra Adhikari is a cancer patient.
