EPL Cricket: Bhairahawa Gladiators clinch second win

Kathmandu,  Bhairahawa Gladiators clinched their second win in the Everest Premier League (EPL) T-20 Cricket championship defeating Lalitpur Patriots by four wickets in a match played at the TU cricket ground today. 
Lalitpur, who were sent to bat first after losing the toss, gave a 142-run victory target to Bhairahawa. They made 141 runs in the stipulated 20 overs losing nine wickets. In reply, Bhairahawa secured the target in the stipulated 20 overs losing six wickets. 
Punit Bista contributed the largest number of 50 runs, Rohit Kumar Poudel 31 runsAarif Shekh 27 runs, captain Sharad Bheswakar 13 runs and Hari Shankar Shah 10 runs for Bhairahawa's victory. Krishna Thapa hit one four to seal the win for Bhairahawa when they needed one run per ball to meet the victory target. 
Indian bowlers Yogesh Nagar took two wickets while Subodh Bhati and Sandip Lamichhane took one wicket each for Lalitpur. 
Nagar made the largest number of 54 runs for Lalitpur. Captain Gyanendra Malla made 42 runs, Jaikisan Kolsawala 14 runs, Rajbeer Singh eight runs, Kushal Bhurtel four runs and Mehbub Alam two runs. 
Dipesh Shrestha and Aarif Shekh of Bhairahawa Gladiators took three wickets each, Punit Bishta two and captain Bheshwakar one wicket. 
Bhairahawa had edged Kathmandu Kings XI by seven wickets in its first match before this.
