Full Court at 2 PM today, preparations underway to begin lottery system in case scheduling from Dec 1

KATHMANDU, November 25: The Supreme Court has summoned a full count at 2 PM on Thursday.

The meeting is scheduled to introduce a lottery system for scheduling cases for hearing at the apex court.

A meeting of SC Justices except Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana held on Wednesday had decided to call a full court at 2PM on Thursday.

The Supreme Court has already sent letters to the SC Justices regarding the full court.

The meeting is likely to decide on beginning a lottery system to schedule cases for hearing at the Supreme Court from December 1, 2021.

Currently, there is a provision of scheduling cases for hearing by the Chief Justice in Nepal.
