CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal is all set to announce his candidacy for the position of party chairman in the forthcoming Tenth National General Convention.
“He [Rawal] will officially announce his candidacy amid a special press conference to be held later today [Sunday],” said Ekindra Kunwar, an aide to Rawal.
It has been learned that Rawal is contesting in the general convention by forming a panel.
The main opposition, UML is holding its Tenth General Convention in Chitwan between November 26 and 28 to elect new leadership for the next five years.
