Cabinet decided to recall all ‘politically appointed’ ambassadors

KATHMANDU: Government has decided to recall all the ‘politically appointed’ ambassadors to various countries.
A Cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday decided to recall ambassadors who were appointed by the predecessor government, said Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Law Minister and government spokesperson.
The meeting also decided to award the contract to construct the seven-km Dullikuna-Simikot road section of the Sallisalla-Simikot road and 13.5-km track of Laipu Badri-Hookah Khola road, to the Nepal Army.
