CNP urges not to agitate wild tusker

Chitwan - The Chitwan National Park has urged the general public to not tease and agitate wild tusker coming to the human settlement during winter season. 

Generally the wild elephants entering to Chitwan National Park from Parsa National Park via Thori and Madi have been creating troubles in the human settlements in the surround of the CNP. 

According to Chief Conservation Officer at CNP Ramchandra Kandel, the wild tuskers enter to the human settlements. The wild animal has been mainly causing damages to the agro crops when it turns agitated following chasing away by the locals. 

Kandel said the elephant turned agitated when people chased the wild beast with fire and other weaponries and urged the locals to not irritate wild tuskers in order to avoid damages to their own properties.
