Nepal suffers 83 runs defeat to Hong Kong

Kathmandu - Nepal conceded an 83-run defeat to Hong Kong in the first match today under the ICC World League Cricket Championship underway in Hong Kong. 

Chasing the 195 runs target posted by Hong Kong, Nepal made only 111 runs in 34.5 overs at the loss of all wickets. 

Nepali team captain Paras Khadka made 26 runs while Aarif Sheikh played with 23 runs. Likewise, Gyanendra Malla scored 21 runs and Binod Bhandari 18 runs. Sompal Kami contributed 11 runs. 

Hong Kong's Ehsan Khan and Aizaz Khan took three wickets each. Sent to bat first after losing the toss, Hong Kong finished off at 194 runs in the stipulated 50 overs at the loss of all wickets.
