Army deactivates IEDs in Humla

Kathmandu - A bomb disposal squad of the Nepali Army (NA) today defused two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted at the main entrance gate of the Agriculture Development Office at Simkot Rural Municipality-6 in Humla district.

A team comprising trained personnel from the Armed Police Force and the NA had inspected and confirmed the IEDs. Security in the district has been tightened in wake of the detection of the IEDs, according to DSP Surya Prakash Subedi.
