Absence of doctor affecting patients

Kathmandu - The number of people coming to the District Ayurved Health Centre in Melauli of the district has been increasing by the day. Lately, people are coming for various pre-COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 medication. However, absence of an Ayurved doctor in the only Ayurved health centre of the district has been hampering services provided by the centre, said information officer Hikmat Chand.

"Various services have affected as the doctor is not available," he said. The importance of Ayurvedic medicine has increased amidst the Corona Virus pandemic. Locally available medicinal plants and herbs are being widely used. Along with Melauli, ayurved clinics are also present in Musyachor of Dasarath Chand municipality-1 and Sahilek in ward no. 4 of the same municipality.
