PM observes flood-hit area

Rajbiraj - Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba inspected the flood-affected areas in Saptari district today.
PM Deuba also met face to face with the affected families of the rural areas hit by flooding a week back.
On the occasion, he also obtained information on the erosion and the inundation caused by the Mahulikhola river in the rural areas including Maina Karedo, among other under the Tirauta Rural Municipality in the district.
The flood in the Khado, Jato and Mauli rivers a week ago broke the dam, besides inundating a dozen villages in the area.
Home Minister, Janardan Sharma also accompanied the Prime Minister.
