NC President Deuba expresses sorrow over demise of party leader Devkota

Kathmandu - Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed sorrow over the demise of party leader Prof Saroj Devkota. "I am saddened by the news of Devkota's death. May the departed soul rest in peace! I extend my condolences to the bereaved families," he said in a statement of condolence. His demise has caused an irreparable loss to the engineering sector, said the NC.

Devkota died today. He was the founding president of the Centre for Democratic Engineers' Nepal, NC's well-wisher, and former president of the Nepal Engineers' Association. Devkota has contributed significantly to the expansion of technical education and policy making in information technology.
