Road connectivity snapped for over four months

Kathmandu - The entire settlement of Beni municipality-3, Bhakimli in Myagdi has remained out of road connectivity for over four months. Transport connectivity of Bhakimli has been snapped with the district headquarters, Beni, after the landslide took away the road section.

Hom Bahadur Rokaya, a local, said the transport connectivity has been disrupted in an entire ward of Bhakimli inhabiting 735 households since the first week of July.

It may be noted that the landslide had blown away one and a half kilometer road with 100 meter RCC portion which connects Bhakimli from Beni via Dudhekhola, Halegauda and Dadakhnai. With the disruption, mobility of the locals, supply of construction materials and transportation of livestock and agro products have faced a big trouble.
