Landslides affect most of road sections in Gulmi

Kathmandu - Most of the road sections in the district are frequently obstructed due to landslides caused by incessant rainfall for past few days. Different parts along the Tamghas-Ridi Road section is obstructed since this morning. The road sections at Urleni and Panityanki areas are obstructed affecting traffic due to landslides.

Likewise, Ridi-Rudrabeni-Bamitaxsarroad section is obstructed due to landslides deposited at Badarebhir and Dahare. Similarly, different parts including Manbag and Bhanjyang along the Ridi-Khajrayang-Indregainde are obstructed by the landslides for few days. According to Parishwar Dhakal, chairman of local Satyawati Rural Municipality, the authority is working out to open the roads but rainfall is creating hardship for the same.
